Holy Qur'an Resources

The Qur’an (also transliterated Koran) is the foundational holy book of the Islamic faith. Its text is said to have been revealed to the Muslim prophet Mohammed by God (Allah) through an angel over a period of twenty years. The Qur'an forms the basis of Islamic living, and was completed in 632 AD, the year of Mohammed’s death. Islam is an Arabic word meaning “submission” – so the Qur’an presents information on the path of right submission to the will of Allah.
